Sent in beautiful surrounds with the lily pond the main feature, Lilly Pond Country Lodge is a superb venue in the Tsitsikama Nature Reserve. The layout is truly stunning with very comfortable and quite rooms, excellent staff and service. The restaurant is excellent although a limited choice with either a set 4 course menu or a choice of just of any of the four courses
on their own. Alternatives are a drive away!. The nearest beach Natures Valley/Grootrivier Estuary is a short drive away and is a wonderful beach. Nearby also is Monkeyworld and Birds of Eden - well worth a visit.

This hotel was very different to the others we stayed at on our trip. It's really remote - a long way from Plettenberg Bay - but lovely if you want the peace and quiet and nothing around. Great to watch the baboons playing in the grounds! The staff were SO brilliant. We had a couple of little "glips" while we were there and they couldn't have done anything more to help you - they were absolutely lovely. The breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip - really nice room to eat and the food and service was lovely. The dinner was also really, really lovely - compliments to the chef!

We booked into this fantastic hotel for two weeks in Feb 2024.It's perfectly located, only 10 mins from Nature's Valley and our friends and 15 to 20 mins from Plett.
With only 10 rooms the vibe is relaxed and peaceful.The hotel itself is low level and dotted with beautiful African art.The Gardens too are lovely.The rooms themselves are tastefully laid out and immaculately furnished.
Bronwan set aside room 4 for us, which is the quietest of the Garden rooms.It was wonderful in every way.The staff were courteous and helpful and the breakfast superb.We would not hesitate to stay here again when we're next in SA

What a delightful find in such a beautiful setting...so tranquil with the ponds and layout of the property...very friendly and welcoming owners and staff. And then beautiful beach on their doorstep in nature's valley. The food was great and enjoyed 2 evening meals too. Thankyou

We had the most beautiful and friendly stay at Lily Pond Lodge. Everyone was amazing.
The dinner was delicious and the chef is an artist.

We were only at Lily Pond for 2 nights but wished we were there for longer. It was lovely and we loved every aspect. We would recommend Lily Pond to anyone who wants a quiet retreat that has high standards of hospitality and service.

Beautiful property overlooking an immense Lily pond. Exceptional restaurant with good variety on the menu. Hosts were very attentive and helpful, would thoroughly recommend this property
