It was my wife's birthday getaway and what a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful place and extremely friendly staff. Roshwill was a real treat and he knows how to let a guest feel special. The dinner was just as wonderful. I however would suggest that you put a king size duvet over the 2 single beds that is tugged together to create a double bed.

Stay here! On our recent garden route self-drive holiday, we had the pleasure in staying 3 nights with Bronwan and team.

Bronwan is the best manager. Always there to greet us and give us tips etc but never overbearing. Runs a great team. Randall is THE BEST chef. we ate dinners there the 3 ngihts we stayed, and was top class food at a very good price. each day, he listened to what we had said the night before, and then tweaked the food / presenation to constantly keep us surprised! Roshwell was a great bar / dinner host and we loved his drinks and explanations of the food coming our way.

The grounds of the lodge are so beautiful. Lily ponds, lovely seating outside (we visited mid winter, but would love to have been there in summer to get the full use of what are beautiful grounds, so well maintained.

The room: beautiful. looking out onto the pond, beautiful bed and bathroom and walk in shower and standalone bath. The only thing pain point was my kids ability to get good wifi in the bedrooms (but that is something they were improving even whilst we were there (start of their new season).

The bar / dining area, lounge & fireplace, breakfast room were all part of a beautiful building and layout. so welcoming, and warming (on a winters night!). Roshwill was quick to light another fire in another room, if he saw we were going to move from our dining table to the louge room etc!

Bronwan - we wish you guys the best in your season now started and many years of success to you guys. Well done to the owners also, who we had the pleasure to meet. they are clearly so hands on in making this a great place (and better than staying in Plett / just drive on down to the town in the car each day for the many activities at sea that we did in this great town).

We stayed 2 nights and Lily Pond Lodge and were extremely well looked after. The rooms are spacious and the property has lovely walks around the lily ponds and beyond.
The food experience exceeded our expectations - everything was delicious. There are other options a drive away for those staying longer.
The team are attentive and made good suggestions for places to visit and see during our time in the area.

A beautiful lodge, ideal for overnight stays before and after the Otter Trail or simply as a hub for exploring the Tsitsikamma National Park. Great quiet location with lovely views of the pond, large pool, the rooms and spaces are very tastefully decorated and well equipped.
The owners and staff are extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast and dinner were excellent. Plettenberg is only a 25 minute drive away.
We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

We had a fantastic stay at Lily Pond for four days in March 2024 in every respect. First of all, the great accommodation in a fantastic location, near the coast and the beautiful Nature's Valley. Not only the service and friendliness of the staff were great, but also breakfast and dinner. We will definitely return on our next visit to South Africa. What a great experience!

Loved our 2-night stay at Lily Pond Country Lodge very much! Absolute stunning scenery at the pond in the evenings while having some perfect gin tonics and great chats with the super friendly staff! Room was great, had some very good sleeps! Lodge is perfectly situated for trips to Tsitsikamma NP and Nature Valley - highly recommended! Chef Randall is a real master chef - dinners were absolutely outstandig! We'd love to come again!

We loved the Lily Pond Country Lodge. It was really tranquil. The staff were amazing and very friendly. Great breakfast and evening meal. Nice setting with swimming pool and comfy sun beds. Thoroughly recommend.

Beautifully set in the lush of the Tsistsikammma. Conveniently on the way to Natures Valley. Nice staff, great food, big selection of Gin!

This is the place you keep secret as it is so good. Staff especially friendly, food exceptional but the tops is the grounds. Several lily ponds with walks around them and into some woods. It is so tranquil you will want to cancel plans to go anywhere
