Charming and peaceful stay

Lily Pond Country Lodge is a real gem. Beautiful setting among lily ponds and forest – perfect for relaxing. Very friendly welcome, we felt at home right away. Spacious rooms, delicious food, and everything well taken care of. Also ideally located: close to Nature’s Valley, Tsitsikamma, and just a short drive from Plettenberg Bay. Highly recommended if you enjoy peace, nature, and a warm atmosphere.

This place is really amazing! The rooms were beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble for Bronwyn and Randal. The food was faultless and tasted so good.

Lovely setting and the most amazing friendly, helpful staff. The chef is superb and serves up delicious food.
The bathroom door didn’t fit in our room which was a bit odd.

Amazing location, beautiful surroundings and exceptional staff! Our room was very comfortable and you really just wanted to spend time at the lodge relaxing rather than exploring the area. Highly recommend!

Very lovely boutique hotel. The decoration is out of this world, truly inspiring and fascinating! Precious garden built around their lily pond. Very stylish in a subtle way. Bronwan, the manager was very accommodating and friendly. Also be sure to book their gourmet dinner, the cook deserves five stars!

Spacious room equipped with all comforts, furnished in a very refined Afro-style and harmonious with the context. The swimming pool is nice, even if we couldn't use it in the winter. Excellent dinner, with prices higher than average, but adequate for the quality of the food. Excellent breakfast, the best espresso in South Africa.
A bit far from everything, but maybe that's also an advantage

Lily Pond was our final stop on the Garden Route before heading to a safari and it was stunning. From the moment we arrived it was obviously somewhere we were going to really enjoy spending time and just being able to relax. Our room was great, as were all of the staff who were so friendly and welcoming - but the highlight for us has to be the food. Lily Pond is easily the best food we have ever eaten at a hotel. We were sadly only there for two nights, but every single dish served to us was a delight. We were truly sad to read the menu on the day we left knowing we wouldn't be there for dinner again! The fantastic chef was also a great host who would come and say hello to everybody during the meals and the front of house staff were all great too - definitely one of the highlights of our trip, thank you all!
