Lily Pond was our final stop on the Garden Route before heading to a safari and it was stunning. From the moment we arrived it was obviously somewhere we were going to really enjoy spending time and just being able to relax. Our room was great, as were all of the staff who were so friendly and welcoming - but the highlight for us has to be the food. Lily Pond is easily the best food we have ever eaten at a hotel. We were sadly only there for two nights, but every single dish served to us was a delight. We were truly sad to read the menu on the day we left knowing we wouldn't be there for dinner again! The fantastic chef was also a great host who would come and say hello to everybody during the meals and the front of house staff were all great too - definitely one of the highlights of our trip, thank you all!

This is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are very big and so comfortable. Beautiful gardens. The food at the restaurant was truly delicious. I highly recommend this hotel

The open plan toilet with a small bedroom was inconvenient. Breakfast and dinner times were at least half an hour later than we would choose

Lily Pond has a beautiful setting, very friendly and helpful staff and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast as well. It was perfectly located to attend a wedding close by. The location is also very close to wine farms and beautiful Plettenberg bay and Nature’s Valley.
The open toilet is sometimes difficult and would have loved more space to place items without it having to stand on the floor, but other than that the rooms were lovely.

We had a really enjoyable stay. The staff and food were fabulous. Our daughter is gluten free and the hotel went above and beyond to make sure that our daughter was able to enjoy the delicious food. We also left an item of jewellery that they promptly sent back to the UK.

We had a great stay. The rooms and especially beds were great. The service was excellent and the breakfast was delicious. We wood definitely come again.

The location and property of the lodge is really beautiful. It's a bit secluded, other restaurants are on 15mins drive or more.

Liliy Pond is an absolute delight and feast for the senses. On every level this property delights - from the warmth and professionalism of the staff to the eclectic decor, the amazing lily ponds, the wonderful gin experience and the superb dinner. If you are seeking a romantic getaway and treat stay on the Garden Route in pure tranquility then this owner operated relaxing place is it. Proximity to Nature's Valley and pristine nature is an added bonus.

Beautiful guest house with well presented rooms and views over the lily pond. The good was amazing in the evening with a good selection of drinks but what made the stay even better were the staff - all friendly and helpful either trip advice etc.

My husband and I stayed at Lily Pond Country Lodge for two nights. We had a room overlooking the pond with its beautiful lilies - thus the name- and its well kept gardens. The room was spacious and meticulously clean with a patio with chairs and deckchairs. The bathroom was spacious as well with abundant towels and amenities. The whole lodge is beautifully furnished and very inviting. There are enough spaces to chill. One can sit at the fire-side in the evening or around the pool overlooking the pond all day.. Breakfast was great and the distance to Nature's Valley only 10 kms.
That leaves one with enough opportunities to fill out the day. We can strongly recommend this lovely lodge with its friendly and hospitable staff..
