Our stay here exceeded our expectations. All of the staff were so friendly, it is unfair to single any of them out but I'll never forget Cameron or Deon who welcomed us on our first night. The location was incredibly peaceful, apart from the noise of the frogs at night! It was an easy drive down to the coast at the Natures Valley Village for swimming and not too far to drive for the thrills of Storms River. The rooms are enormous with super beds. The food, both at breakfast and at dinner was exceptional and I loved speaking with the chefs after we had eaten. If only we could have stayed longer!

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Cameron and Carol took great care of us in a lively and engaging way during both breakfast and dinner, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The (small but amazing) chef prepared a delicious dinner that we truly enjoyed. The rooms were also clean, well-maintained, and cozy, making us feel right at home.

As a lovely surprise, we were treated to a local monkey show during the aperitif — a unique and fun experience!

In short: highly recommended for anyone looking to relax, enjoy some peace and quiet, and indulge in great food in a pleasant setting.

This is Lily Ponds own description - and it's completely true. We felt very welcome an throughly enjoyed our stay.

Lily pond was so beautiful and peaceful, I had the greatest downtime to the property, mouth watering 4 course dinner meal, breakfast scrumptious, staff very friendly. It was so sad that I was unable to use the bath tub. I booked the room knowing well that at the end of the day I love to take a long bath

Very friendly, hospitable, beautiful surroundings, heavenly room and very tasty cuisine! We also had a very pleasant interaction with the staff. We left the place with a heavy heart.

We had an excellent stay in the Lilypond Country Lodge. The lodges are great, the location excellent. The staff is so friendly and helpful, dinner and breakfast fantastic (no lunch used). The concept of coming together for the pre-dinner drinks is great. All in all an excellent 2 nights in the Lilypond Country Lodge

Such a beautiful setting among the Lily Ponds and grounds.
We were welcomed and shown around and we were delighted by our room. The bed was really comfy and the bathroom was massive. The bath robes were lovely and fluffy too. It was quite chilly when we visited (beginning of October) and did feel the chill of the polished concrete floors (It would have been nice to have some slippers)
We ate one evening meal and it was really lovely and tasty and beautifully served.
The breakfast was served in a covered terrace and was everything you could imagine.
The staff/owners were very attentive and had lots of recommendations of places to see and visit during our stay.
Would highly recommend and stay here you won’t be disappointed I promise

The Lily Pond Country Lodge is located in an area with plenty of activities to do. The lodge itself is very well maintained and offers a beautiful view on their own Lily Pond.

The entire staff screams hospitality. They are very thoughtful and try to help you with just about anything you require/ want help with.

Last and foremost, the lodge offers diners aswell and their chef is explicable. The food is of very high quality and the food will be brought to you by the chef itself (with his beautiful smile). Unfortunately, the chef couldn't accompany us for the rest of our trip (his cooking skills were duely missed)

We spent a month traveling through South Africa and this was our favorite place to visit. We would very much recommend this lodge to anyone.

We were the onlu guests and even then the dinner was verry goed. The people were als very frendly.
The room has a very nice view on the lake.

We were warmly welcomed by Deon, who gave us a tour of the beautiful property. We had the pleasure of staying in the Superior Suite – spacious, spotless, and equipped with every comfort. There was even a bathtub and a music system where we enjoyed listening to African hits.

In the main building, you can relax with drinks and enjoy dinner, expertly prepared by Randall. The food was top-notch, with a menu that changes daily.

Breakfast was lovingly prepared by Carol and the morning team, who welcomed us with the same warmth. It was delicious and very generous – if they have the cheese platter available, definitely order it, it’s a real treat. The team also gave us great tips for excursions in the area.
