Meet the New Management Couple
New Management Couple joins the Lily Pond Country Lodge Family
Bronwan’s hospitality journey began in 2006, working at Harbour House Hotel in Hermanus. Four years later she moved on to Botswana to assist in a Hotel opening and later returned to South Africa and ended up at Tsala Treetop Lodge as a Duty Manager later being Promoted to Assistant General Manager.
Randall’s Chef journey started when he completed his studies at The International Hotel School in 2014, during which time he also did some practical training at Belmond Mount Nelson and the Peninsula Hotel in Cape Town. Randall joined Hunters Country House in 2015 as a Chef de Partie later being promoted to Junior Sous.
From there they moved to Cape Town to explore their careers in the big city. Bronwan as Front Office and Reservations Management at Cloud 9 Boutique Hotel and Spa and Randall working at La Mouette Restaurant and Zeitz Mocca Restaurant that was operated under the Aleit Group. In 2019 when the Pandemic struck Bronwan and Randall were two of the many casualties that was affected and lost their jobs, but they did not stay laying down they stood up and together they purchased a Food Truck and Started their own small business in Gansbaai. Together they did Weddings, Music Events and Specialized Markets and started a Trend. After two years Bronwan and Randall decided that they wanted to return to the Garden Route and join the Hospitality Sector again as that is where their passion lies. Together they are now part of the Lily Pond Family in the capacity of General Manager (Bronwan) and Head Chef (Randall)
