Dear Visitor, Welcome to our website. Below you will find the latest news and information about Lily Pond Country Lodge and it's surroundings. *On request from many satisfied guests Lily Pond has extended its Wellness menu. Alison Naude is now offering combi packages like facials together with a full body massage or pedicure and/or manicure with reflexology treatments. *On 8 March owners Niels and Margret together with 2 staff members cycled the famous ARGUS Cycle tour in Cape Town. This year a blowing South Easter in Cape Town made this cycle tour the most difficult one in 15 years for the 35000 participants. Lots of credits for the staff who did this cycle event for the first time. For the next year's Argus Cycle tour the idea is born to make it a charity event for Plettenberg Bay child nursery "Siyasame" partly run by our restaurant manager Donald. The new team will be sponsered by Lily Pond and some other private support from the Netherlands *The latest news is that the well-known swing bridge over Storms River in Tsitsikamma National Park is open again for public after it was distroyed by a fire 1,5 year ago.

The music cd's in our rooms (own compilations of Jazz, Lounge, Easy listening and African music) are for sale and the funds go straight to this excellent initiative from our ass. restaurant manager Donald Ralawe. * Lily Pond Country Lodge is closed for the month of June and all staff members go on their annual leave. *On the 1st of October Faith joined our restaurant team. She is an enthusiastic and experienced senior waitress and worked at 5 star Hunters Country Lodge for the last 4 years. When you arrive at Lily Pond you will meet her and welcomes you with her beautiful smile. *Our senior waiter Donald Ralawe is promoted as ass. restaurant manager. Congratulations Donald you deserve it, because of your commitment to Lily Pond and the positive feedback of our guests. *This winter we upgraded our en-suite rooms and luxury suites: -The EN-SUITE ROOMS with new earth color tiles in the bathroom, Canary wood laminated flooring and extra panelheater and gowns. ----------------- NEW THIS WINTER!! a 5 seated JACUZZI on our island in one of the lily ponds. Enjoy beautiful evenings under the stars in 37 degrees hot bubbly water. Don't forget the Champagne! NEW at Lily Pond is our SPA treatment area where we do therapeutic massages, reflexology, and Hot-Stone therapy. *To assist Margret in our kitchen we appointed Vincent Qoqwe. Lily Pond’s Menu’s Season 2009-2010: The menus consists of a small, ever evolving menu, focusing on fresh, local, seasonal ingredients, of which a great deal is grown on the property, simply cooked and beautifully presented. Daily changing 4 course set menu at R225 per person. On request we also cater for vegetarians. We kindly ask you to book for dinner on day of arrival in advance. All other days we present our new menu during breakfast. All our menu's start with an "Amuse Bouche" and homemade bread is served.
